2. 情态动词can
can是情态动词，表示“能，会”。没有人称和 数的变化。其后跟动词原形。
（1）can用于陈述句，表示能干，有能力做某事。
i can throw the shot put.
he can play basketball.
（2）后加n ot构成否定形式，可缩写成can’t或cannot。
i can’t swim.
she can’t climb a rope.
（3）can放在句首，构成一般疑问句，询问别人是否可以干某事，也表示请求对方允许。
can you play tennis? yes, i can. / no, i can’t
can i use your bike?

also表示“也”，一般用于肯定句。
i like english, i al so like math.
i’m a student, and mike is also a student.
4. what about other events? 其他的运动项目呢？
what about…? 用于提出建议，后跟名词或动词的-ing形式。

what about going swimming?
5. 不定代词all, most, some, a fe w, none
all 全部, most 大多数, some 一些, a few 少数, none 没有人。这些词与of连用，可用于一个有限定词的名词前，或人称代词前，而且要与代词的宾格连用。
